William Thane has ordered a mass shutdown of schools and businesses across the United Kingdom.

A task force has been assembled to each place to investigate staff for alien activity. In a televised conference, Thane called the increase in alien reports a "threat to global democracy" and says he plans on working with other world leaders to combat an alien invasion on a global scale.

The shutdown is expected to go into effect next week, despite massive pushback for the program itself and the speed at which it is being rolled out. Thane warns that anyone resisting the plan will be suspected of "aiding takeover" and potentially detained and questioned if they do not comply. The prime minister states that the program "will only end once the evil is confirmedly driven out".
